Discover the secrets of art at the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum! The Bagatti Valsecchi Museum is taking part in MuseoCity 2026, the event that transforms Milan into a huge open-air museum. From February 27 to March 5, on the occasion of Museo Segreto, the Museum presents a selection of unpublished photographs from its historical archive. Collected by brothers Fausto and Giuseppe Bagatti Valsecchi in the second half of the 19th century, the images document the architecture, decorations, and ornamental details that inspired the design of the house on Via Gesù. The exhibition highlights the creative process of the two brothers, who were able to reinterpret models from the past and transform them into original elements of their Neo-Renaissance project, revealing a subtle dialogue between image and architecture, memory and invention.
