THE BAGATTI VALSECCHI MUSEUM
Offer your friends and clients unforgettable hospitality
The Bagatti Valsecchi house, located in historic downtown Milan, happily opens wide its doors to
you, your friends and guests for special events of exceptional prestige and exquisite
emotions. While lavishly entertaining here, you also will demonstrate your artistic
sensitivity and sense of civic responsability. By holding your function at the Bagatti Valsecchi
Museum, you not only will impress your guests, but you also lend valuable support to the life of the
museum.
The museum expresses the taste and life style of the wealthy, cultured, aristocratic and Milanese family, the Bagatti Valsecchi. The precious collections of 15th-16th century Italian art (including paintings by the world renowned Bellini brothers) and decorative arts were assembled by the Bagatti Valsecchi brothers, Fausto and Giuseppe, during the second half of the 19th century, and still are displayed in their original positions in the historic palazzo. Thus, the museum not only offers Italian Renaissance art, but also an authentic "magic window" onto Milan's recent aristocratic past that fascinates many types of audiences, and would be a marvelous taste of Milan for your conference attendees and their spouses, your incentive travel and your special events, such as award dinners, or product presentation receptions.
The museum offers exclusive morning, or evening visits to the
17 rooms of the museum, when it is closed to the public. It also has an ample
Salone (grand hall) which can accomodate 80 to 100 seated guests for meetings,
conferences, presentations, musical evenings, seminars, art exhibitions, or sumptuous sit-down dinners.
Finally, for a memorable touch, refreshments, or banquets may be offered on the first-floor terrace --open only for special occasions-- which has a view of a lovely private mansion and the Bagatti Valsecchi courtyard. The terrace is partially covered, and may be heated and protected with transparent material allowing your guests to enjoy your event
rain, or shine.
Further, to help your guests better appreciate their luxurious and beautiful surroundings, special guided visits may be arranged in any of the principal European languages. Information cards also are available in each room in the principal European languages and Japanese.
